In 2013, WestJet decided to spread a little cheer. They created their own Christmas miracle for one flight. This marketing promotion call “Real-Time Giving” may have cost money to accomplish, but in the end they ended up not only creating life long customers, but they boosted their social media interactions and positive ratings across the internet. On Youtube alone, as of this posting, this video has garnered over 36 million views and almost 200,000 likes.

Read more about their plan and what it took to pull this amazing feat off in just a few hours on their blog. Just think…this may have cost them a couple thousand dollars, but we are still talking about it today. Worthwhile investment if I must say so myself.
